Drip Sequence Campaign
Overview
Note
It is required to properly configure and run the Perfex CRM cron job for this feature to work correctly.
A drip sequence is a scheduled series of WhatsApp template messages sent to a lead or contact over time.
Instead of sending one campaign blast, you define multiple steps such as:
- Send a welcome template after 1 hour
- Send a follow-up template after 1 day
- Send a reminder template after 3 days
Each enrolled record moves through the sequence automatically based on the delay configured for each step.
Drip-specific setting
Go to:
WhatsBot > Settings > Drip Campaign
There you can configure:
Drip Cron Batch Limit: how many due enrollments are processed in one cron cycle

Main flow
The normal workflow is:
- Create a drip sequence
- Add one or more delayed steps
- Save the sequence
- Enroll leads or contacts into the sequence
- Let cron process due steps automatically
- Monitor, pause, resume, or exit enrollments as needed
Where to find it
Go to:
WhatsBot > Campaings > Drip Sequences
This page shows the list of available sequences and actions like:
- Create sequence
- Edit sequence
- Open enrollments
- Delete sequence

Create a new drip sequence
Click Create Drip Sequence.
You will see two main sections:
Sequence DetailsSequence Steps
Sequence Details
Fill in:
Sequence Name: internal name for the sequenceDescription: optional notes for your teamRelation Type: choose who this sequence is forLeadsContacts
Sender Phone: WhatsApp number used to send sequence messagesActive: enable or disable the sequence
If a sequence is inactive, enrollments will not continue sending until it is activated again.

Add sequence steps
Each step represents one scheduled WhatsApp message.
For every step, configure:
Delay: number before sending the stepTime Unit:Minutes,Hours, orDaysTemplate: approved WhatsApp template for that step
You can click Add Step to create additional follow-up messages.
Important scheduling behavior
- Step 1 delay is calculated from the enrollment time
- Step 2 and later delays are calculated from the time the previous step is sent
Example:
- Step 1:
1 hour - Step 2:
1 day - Step 3:
3 days
If a contact is enrolled at 10:00 AM:
- Step 1 sends at
11:00 AM - Step 2 sends about
11:00 AMthe next day - Step 3 sends about
3 daysafter step 2
