Engage in discussions on feature requests through comments and threaded replies.

Commenting on Feature Requests ​

Adding a Comment ​

  1. Open a feature request
  2. Scroll to comments section
  3. Type your comment in the text box
  4. Optionally attach files
  5. Click Comment

Comment Features ​

Attachments:

  • Upload images
  • Up to 5 files per comment
  • 5 MB per file

Threaded Replies ​

Replying to Comments ​

  1. Find the comment to reply to
  2. Click Reply button
  3. Type your reply
  4. Click Reply

Thread display:

  • Replies indented under parent comment
  • Thread badge shows reply count
  • Collapse/expand threads

Comment Thread

Comment Permissions ​

Who can comment:

  • Logged-in users (default)
  • Original submitter
  • Admins (always)

Configure per board in settings.

Editing and Deleting ​

Edit Your Comment ​

  • Edit window: 10 minutes after posting
  • Click Edit button
  • Make changes
  • Save

Edited badge appears on modified comments.

Delete Your Comment ​

Users can delete their own comments within 10 minutes of posting.

Admins can delete any comment.

Comment Notifications ​

Users receive email when:

  • Someone replies to their comment
  • Someone comments on their feature request
  • They're mentioned in a comment (see User Mentions)

Admin Moderation ​

Admins can:

  • Pin important comments - Highlighted at top
  • Edit any comment - Fix inappropriate content
  • Delete comments - Remove spam
  • Lock discussions - Prevent new comments

For Users ​

  • Be respectful and constructive
  • Stay on topic
  • Provide context and examples
  • Use replies to respond directly

For Productive Discussions ​

  • Ask clarifying questions
  • Share use cases
  • Suggest alternatives
  • Build on others' ideas

Comment Sorting ​

Sort comments by:

  • Newest first
  • Oldest first
