The Coupon Management system allows super admins to create attractive discount coupons to encourage tenant registrations, plan upgrades, and subscription renewals. This comprehensive system provides flexible validation rules, usage restrictions, and detailed analytics.

Coupon Management enables super admins to:

  • Create Discount Coupons: Generate percentage or fixed-amount discounts
  • Set Validation Rules: Apply various restrictions and limitations
  • Monitor Usage: Track coupon performance and tenant activity
  • Attract Tenants: Use strategic discounts for business growth

Tenants can utilize coupons during:

  • Registration: New account signup discounts
  • Plan Upgrades: Incentivize higher-tier plan adoption
  • Subscription Renewals: Retain existing customers

The Manage Coupons page provides a comprehensive view of all created coupons with the following information:

2. Creating New Coupons

Create New Coupon Form

Click the + Create Coupon button to access the coupon creation interface.

Coupon Information

Basic Details:

  • Coupon Code: Unique identifier (auto-generate or custom)
    • Use "Generate" button for automatic codes
    • Example: SAVE20, WELCOME50
  • Name: Display name for the coupon
    • Example: "Summer Sale", "New User Discount", "Diwali Sale"
  • Description (Optional): Internal notes about the coupon purpose

Discount Configuration:

  • Type: Choose between Percentage or Fixed Amount
    • Percentage: Specify discount percentage (1-100%)
    • Fixed Amount: Set amount of your base currency
  • Status: Enable/disable the coupon immediately

Total Usage Limit (Optional):

  • Set maximum number of times the coupon can be used across all tenants
  • Leave blank for unlimited usage
  • Example: Limit to 100 total uses for exclusive offers

Usage Limit Per Customer (Optional):

  • Restrict how many times a single tenant can use the coupon
  • Prevents abuse and ensures fair distribution
  • Example: One use per tenant account

Financial Restrictions

Minimum Amount (Optional):

  • Set minimum subtotal required for coupon validity
  • Encourages higher-value purchases
  • Example: $50 minimum for 20% discount

Maximum Discount (Optional):

  • Cap the maximum discount amount for percentage-based coupons
  • Protects against excessive discounts on high-value plans
  • Example: Maximum $100 discount on any purchase

Special Conditions

Apply to First Payment Only:

  • Checkbox option to restrict coupon to initial subscription payment
  • Ideal for new tenant acquisition campaigns
  • Subsequent renewals won't apply the discount

  • Choose billing cycles eligible for the discount
  • Options: Monthly, Quarterly, Annual

Detailed Transaction Log:

  • Tenant Information: Which tenant used the coupon
  • Usage Date: When the discount was applied
  • Discount Amount: Actual savings provided
  • Plan Details: Which plan the coupon was applied to
  • Invoice Reference: Link to corresponding invoice
